What? Those are all different variants.

Just like there's no problem calling Tejas, LCA. There's nothing wrong with calling Rudra, Armed Dhruv or WSI Dhruv..

Chill down man. There's no problem, but when internal systems are modified, weapons are added to a utility heli; then it becomes a new variant at all. I think so. I am not that much educated.

Nah man.. Before Rudra got its official name people called it Armed Dhruv, Weaponized Dhruv, etc. It's all the same.

I still call Tejas, 'LCA'. And I'll probably call LCH, LCH even after it gets its official name.

Point is Armed Dhruv, Weaponized Dhruv, etc are the same as Rudra...

Idk, this isn't a big deal anyways.

Arrow CABS touches 21 Spirited scientists await prying plane Sub-systems for surveillane

[*******#333333]The Centre for Air-Borne Systems (CABS) touched 21 silently with a story matching that of the proverbial Phoenix. With a morale virtually reduced to ground-zero following the tragic crash of their pet prototype plane Airborne Surveillance Platform (ASP) in 1999, today the CABS has made most of its detractors run for cover. Thanks to the decision-makers at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO[*******#333333]) HQ in Delhi, the CABS got a fresh lease of life in 2004, when they bagged the prestigious Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system project.
