Actually, that camo pattern is quite effective in the Thar desert wastelands in the Punjab and Rajasthan on the border between Pakistan and India. The desert shrub is an interesting shade of pink and brown.
This camo was used to great effect in the India-Pakistan Wars. While not quite digitial, it gives far more effective coverage than normal desert patterns
