So how often do you have add breaks during movies on tv in the states?

You know what I think of your guys ratings ?

I think they are utter bull****. I think you people just choose them randomly. There is no base for your ratings, you just make it up. If you like it it will be 8 to 10 points, if not it has 1 to 4 points. No more tactic behind it.

Normally commercial breaks run every 15 minutes or so...

That's why I DVR most everything... skip the commercials... everyone is happy... (except the advertisers)

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 5.5/10. Much crappier than the first two but had some OK scenes.
Awake 7/10. I quite enjoyed it and Jessica Alba was f*cking hot but the surgery parts were icky.
The Simpsons Movie 8/10. I hadn't watched it in a while, still much better than the last few seasons have been.

The commericial breaks that happened during American Idol is what made me stop watching that horrible sh!t.

6 minute long commercials...all Coke and Ford related.

I just watched Factotum for the first time with Matt Dillon.
Pretty funny movie if you like this kind of humor, not for everyone.

    I give it a 8/10

    I give this comment a 7 out of 10.
I've seen better, but can't argue with it's logic.

Lawrence of Arabia. I hadn't seen it in a long time. A great film. I remembered Peter O'Toole and Omar Shariff, but forgot about Alec Guiness, Anthony Quinn and Jose Ferrer. Truly an epic. 9+/10

I haven't see it, but my friend's sister said that the only good thing about the film was the Satan's Alley preview.

Ouch! I was looking forward to that movie!

Well I'll see it on DVD sometime no doubt. Then again I thought Zoolander was semi funny. (Runs and hides)

Re-watched Rambo 4 with a friend since he hadn't seen it. I was a bit harsh on it before. The claymore boom finally made sense to me. It got sloppy at the end like Tears of The Sun but it was decent. 7.5 - They are making a fifth as well. The gore was almost retarded and for some reason I don't think being shot in the head by a .50 sniper rifle will launch your body 20 feet away, just like in Smokin Aces...

The Dark Knight - Had high hopes for this after Batman Begins kicked ass. Pretty much a non-stop disappointment. Basically they are following the James Bond strategy: Through in a bunch of gay gadgets, tons of side characters, a convoluted story and snaking plot and hope no one can discern WHAT THE **** YOU WERE SMOKING! But yeah sorry, the gadgets do not make the man, THEY ENABLE HIM! Something those form the Bond and Batman franchises seem to forget. I would love for Frank Miller to take a gritty hard hitting shot at Batman. Then again Frank Miller would just make him an outright brawler which he isn't.

Anywho, Harvey Dents blown off face effects look comical and cheesy which doesn't fit a totally modern Batman. It would have been fine in the older crappier ones but not this one. The Bat Cycle coming out of the Bat Mobile seems like it was created to sell toys and was super retarded. The fact they put grappling hooks on the Bat Cycle just to make that scene where he trips up the Jokers big rig was hella gay. I mean who the **** puts grappling hooks on a moto? When the Bat Cycle plowed into a wall, went straight up it and reversed down was mind numbingly.... I forget the word. The crap at the end of the huge machine that uses everyone's cell phones to create some imaging system to locate the Joker, what the **** ever. Batman's gay 3d vision visor and him beating up all the SWAT at the end.... Ugh... Mind numbing **** non stop. Characters thrown everywhere. The only good thing about the movie was Heath Ledger. He nailed a really fun Joker character. Otherwise it was a non stop suck fest and I was the front sucker. 5/10 - What a shame, the first rocked. Needless to say this movie doesn't deserve to overtake the Titanic in sales or whatever record that movie holds...

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - So... forgettable... A few funny parts. Otherwise bleh. 3/10

Another Will Farrel flick Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, same as Talladega, a few funny parts otherwise it sucked. 3/10

Should I even bother with Step Brothers with Will Farrel? Haven't seen it...

Watched American Psycho again since I couldn't remember what it was about. For some reason I still can't. Eh, it was okay and had its moments. The business card showdown was freakin hilarious and him filming his own **** was as funny as hell. It was decent but I wouldn't say cult classic in any realm. 7/10

This is England is a winner. Haven't seen In Bruges, but I've heard good things. I wouldn't recommend any of the others.

But are the rest of them worthy of a watch or should I just skip them?
