Just watched Act of Valor last night. Gosh the script and plot felt like it was written by a 16 year who read too much Tom Clancy.
Act of Valor : 5/10
Gets +2 for SEAL-****, otherwise some really corny dialogue and a rather bland linear plot interrupted by lots of bang bang, culminating in the predictable heroic death sequence and funeral flag ceremony. You werent over at my house were you? If you were, I hope I at least offered you a beer!
Dark Knight Rises. 7.5/10.
Ending was whack. -1.5 maybe 2.0 for ending. Overall it was great, but.
Spoiler: I don't think Batman should have a happy ending. Saving Gotham from the nuke, OK, but having some lunch in Florence with Catwoman? Come on...

During a shootout scene the exit door opened in my theater. No one wanted to go near...several left, employee came in to close it after a few minutes. A few people never came back. Should not f*cking happen, Green Hills Theater. I was in the back row by myself ready to creep around and take that f*cker out like Batman.
The Making of South Park: 6 Days to Air
8/10
The story about going to the Oscars on acid was hilarious.
From Nuremberg to Nuremberg, a French documentary about WW2.
Iron Sky - 6,5\10
(without the very last scene with Earth before titles it would be 6\10)
Love - for some scenes(720p)+music 7,5\10
for the story 4\10
Ted...damn that was funny.
I guess it's because they think a trilogy is enough, especially this one. Continuing with other episodes would kill the franchise and at some point people would be like "oh, another batman".
Like the first Star Wars trilogy for instance. They could have done more movies afterward (well, they have with the "christmas special"), but ending it this way is just right. There is no need to continue, plus the ending pretty much offers a wide opening for the imagination. Considering the fact that the Batman can be anybody, the Batman becomes an idea and hence can not die.![]()
Drive: 7/10
Was enjoyable, but didnt live up to the hype. Driving sequences were good (especially at night), music was great and Mulligan was adorable... however the plot lacked at times and it seemed as if the film was either 30 minutes too short or 45 minutes too long. Gosling's disinterested stare gets old after 2 or 3 films.
Yep, Drive was good film to kill some time in a rainy day.
