The Giver 6.5/10 Entertaining flick. I'd really need to re-read the book to compare what was going. It's not one I recall the plot of, read it in the 7th grade. Dystopian fiction, kid rebels in a world of no emotion, he was the only one with emotion and ran away. I frankly remember the end of the book where he'd ran away. Well the book ends with the society receiving its ability again.

If I Stay 7/10 Very interesting way to tell a story. Very very sad. Saw it with the girl I spent the day with. I teared up a few times. Girl loses her family, keeps boyfriend, gets into Juilliard.

Noah 6.5/10 I would really have to re-read that part of the bible to know wth was going on. Story was coherent, acting was quite good and the message was not over the top.

I saw Ghostbusters in a theater for the first time in 30 years yesterday. Had a lot of fun.

Watched "Ride Along" with my son. Horrible, horrible movie. Not one original joke in the whole movie. It was not worth the $1.20US it cost at Redbox. 1/10 because there were times my 14-yr old laughed.

An Alan Ladd love fest on Turner Classic Movies yesterday. Shane still earns an 8.0/10; This Gun for Hire gets an 8.0/10 from me as well. This was Ladd's breakout film. Veronica Lake was smoking hot.
