From the professional pov and cook lifestyle Ill give it a 9/10 but the happy freaking ending ruin it for me.

So do we have American Rambo Tank holding the line against hordes of Über SS Cannon Fodder? Or is there a more nuanced portrayal of things?

All the best WWII movies are full of stereotypes. Don't like it, don't go. Jesus, go see that Keanu Reeves POS instead and whine about that.

Not to give away the ending to those who have not seen it, but it depicts war as a dirty, gritty, violent, deadly, gory, depraved business with little glory to it. If you get anything out of it, that would be it. It's also a visually stunning movie, with plenty to see if you are a militaria geek.

Saw the movie, loved it. Cool haircut on Brad. I think I saw a couple of guys around town sporting that haircut after the movie came out.
