The SORD auscam pattern looks to be a foot wide ^2, look at how it tiles on the torso. There can't be any decent macropattern in that stuff, to me it seems like the regular pattern, but harshly resized and made less effective over distances.

I know it's a harsh thing to throw out there, but a 0.5-1 m large camouflage pattern with advanced algorithms and science behind it smells inflation to me. Regular flecktarn from germany with AUSCAM colors would work better.

I just hope the Germans don't switch to digital camo. I like their Flecktarn uniforms. And they blend in pretty well, I guess.

Flecktarn fits ok in Spain too. For me is the best looking camo :=)

It could be even better though if they toned down the red-brown to be more brown, and made the dark green colours a bit lighter.

Great pictures. I like the new Italian patterns. Have there been any studies done comparing the effectiveness of various patterns? Which pattern is considered the most advanced?

Here's some of the FFW 2010...although as discussed in other forums, most likely the actual pattern will be something entirely different.

Also one of the new French Felin camo pattern/uniform.

Check out the All-Over-Brush pattern that may actually be the pattern of the FFW 2010.

Finally, the standard french camo (Centre Europe) is retained. Sagem choice has not met positive reaction from the Direction Générale de l'armement.
