http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/00237.phpPatriota camo is the result of years of expermimentation and work with an expert team from the University of Los Andes and the Colombian army with the asesory from the US Army advisors. It's designed and produced locally by Fabricato-Tejicondor textile company. The uniform is available in BDU-style and ACU-style to regular soldiers and special forces respectively.
The unique Colombian Pixelado digital camouflage pattern has been developed after many years of research, which was conducted jointly by the U.S. Army, the National Army of Colombia (Spanish: Ejercito Nacional de Colombia) and Colombian Universities. In the end, three different colour schemes were produced: a predominantly green woodland variant; a predominantly brown desert variant; and a predominantly white snow variant. The woodland variant of Pixelado, shown here, is a four-colour digital camouflage pattern. It was introduced into service in 2007, to be worn by members of the National Army of Colombia and the Colombian Air Force (Spanish: Fuerza Aerea Colombiana).

Great post Eluphant - in terms of degrees of probability, it would be more likely that the Chinese copied the Columbians, rather than the other way around anyways.
I was thinking these guys are wearing a digital pattern, not the two wearing the 6-color and 3-color BDU's. But i'm not positive. Anyone want to give their opinion?
These are I.R.G.C by the way.
i agree with jaegerkommando, it seems the chinese copied the colombian design, the colombian design was based on years of study.
