Slovak Army 1939-1944 photos (Invasion into Poland and the USSR)

WW2 stated not only by nazi Wehrmacht agression against Poland but by Army of clerical-fascist "Slovak State" attack as well ( about 50 000 soldiers of Slovak Army attack Poland from the South)

map of Slovak attack against Poland
Slovak considered the attack as a revenge of Slovak territories annexed by the Poles in 1938 and on the other hand seized some border Polish areas.

the map of the Slovak army battle way in USSR up to the Krasnodar near Sevastopol. But in 1943 a lot of Slovak soldiers and small units defected, co-operated or make friendship with Soviet inhabitants and damaged own tanks and equipment to be unable to fight, so Wehrmacht headquarters recognised Slovak soldiers as unreliable and Slovak government recalled all Slovak units back to home in autumn 1943. The same army with the same headquarters turned its weapons against own clerical-fascistic goverment, Wehrmacht and SS units a year later and as the 1st Czechoslovak Army (supported by 1st Czechoslovak fighter regiment of the Czechoslovak Army in USSR) started the largest national uprising in Europe at 29.8.1944 (on 2/3 part of Slovak State territory) .

oh man, Czechoslovakia was destroyed by British and French betrayel and by its capitulation before Hitler and Mussolini in Munchen 29./30.9. 1938 and British and French (not German) disgusting extortionate press to the Czechoslovak goverment to turn in Czech border areas for Germany and Poland, and 2.10.1938 on base of the criminal "Wien arbitration" Slovak border areas and Podkarpatská Rus for Hungary ( both "agreement" were canceled already during WW2) . So according constitutional law in december 1939 arose some
"Czecho-Slovakia" (official name). But it was only a comedy, Hitler already had plan to destroy as he sad "rest of Tschechei" in autumn 1937 (as the Plan Green) and 15.3.1939 nazis seized rest of Czech territory and independet Slovak State arose in the same day(official name of it). So there wasn´t any Czechoslovak Army as the part of Axis coalition. In fact the Slovaks and the Czechs were the enemies together up to the 1944 when Slovak Army turns weapons against own nazis, clerical fascist government and German Wehrmacht and SS units what invaded into the Slovakia in September 1944. Czechoslovak Armies and Air Forces in Poland, France, Great Britain, the USSR, in Africa were created mainly by the Czechs.

There wasn´t any Polish invasion into the Czechoslovakia, simply Czechoslovak Army had to turn in border territory and the Poles seized empty Czech Tesin area.

So maybe don´t use "Slovak" but Slovak invasion. Slovak invasion in Poland started on 5.00 AM at the 1st September 1939, I guess one hour after German attack....

Slovak invasion into the the USSR started at 24.6.1941

Czech soldiers during WW2 thread comming maybe soon

I wish SU would have attacked Germany instead of Poland in 1939.
