Some photos I took of the beach airshow that was in Pensacola the weekend after July 4. They were all taken with an 18-55 which is failsauce for how far away the aircraft were so most of the pics are cropped to 100% and not too sharp.

Givati, I've seen amazing photos taken with camera phones, its not about massively high resolution and tons of detail, its about conveying a mood and a moment. In Amateur Photographer there was a great photo taken from a taxi cab window in the rain in Times Square, the reader said it was from another make of camera but the person critiquing the photos pointed out the exif said it was from a Sony phone, and said not to be embarassed by the kit used, and he was right, it was a great picture.

Exactly, if you have a good eye for photography, any camera would do the trick.
