    Great Pictures. I had an opportunity to do some live fire training with some Legionares on a recent deployment, and I was very impressed. They are truely squared away soldiers. They presented my CO with a beret. Very cool guys.

    Well, the owl is the symbol of the 1ère Compagnie de combat of the 2° R.E.P. It stands for sharpness and precision.

    As always Ralf, great pics!

    It's not everyday you see pictures of Legionnaires in action! Btw, what regiment were you in? I know a guy that spent 6,5 years i 1e REI! He's my go to guy when I want to know something.. Always good to be prepared before you embark on something like this...
