Some talibs really got big balls.. or are very high on drugs!?
Some days ago they attacked a Danish tankunit with RPG's and small arms.. the tanks returned the fire.

A new version of M113(G4) has arrived in Helmand. It got the same protectionlevel against mines/IED's as the CV90 MKIII and MRAP(Cougar).
All(40 so far) the modified M113 are strected versions(6 roadwheels) that can carry 10 passengers. The modification includes more armour under the belly and on the sides, new 'mine-safe' seats, a fire suppression system, modifications of breaks and suspension etc... 10 are in Helmand now and it's the plan that all M113G3's will be replaced by this model this year.
This will be the last upgrade for M113's in Danish service(since 68). The army is looking for a replacement and will start testing new tracked APC's this year(CV90 Armadillo, Ascod etc..)
