Snipers are sneaky bastards. You can't see them, so you can't take their picture

Personal security. If there's any pictures faces are most often blurred like SF pics..

These guys kills scores of taliban in Afghanistan.. would be a great victory for taliban if they kill one of them.

Well if the Taliban kill a soldier with a blurry face, they might think it's a SF soldier..

The Danish Queen Margrethe II has visited the troops in Helmand. She was in Camp Bastion, Camp Price as well as the FOBs in the Patrol Base Line.
Pretty cool at her age, she'll be 71 in a few weeks.

She's my Regiment's Colonel in Chief, glad she seems well liked by the Danes.

The monarchy in general has got large public support here. I personally think she's a very classy lady, majestic like a queen should be, but also human (baaad smoking habits!)

By the way, a Colonel in Chief is like a guardian of the regiment or what? What does that mean for her and you?

It's an honorary position that doesn't mean anything operationally. But Colonels in Chief tend to come to some regimental functions and parades. For example they might come to a parade to give soldiers their medals after a tour.
