is there any good advice regarding buying an upper receiver for an ar15....i am looking for standard military length either 20" or `14" barrels
I think Bushmaster and DPMS both have good reputations and a variety of choices. You might check out Fulton Armory too. I also suspect SMGLee might be able to give you some good info.Originally Posted by zonk

how hard is ti to come by the 20" barrel, i dont see them advertised much, mostly 16" barrels on gunbroker

What is the contraption on the front of the muzzle? Pinned magazine is gtg if it hides the fireballIf it breakes the muzzle - then MMG is the only thing you need
