    To clear things up:

    Kebab = (persian) Grilled Meat
    Döner = (turkish) turning or spinning (the meat is turning)

    The bread is called "pide"(turkish) or "pita" (greek).

    The thin bread is "Yufka" if you roll it you call it "Dürüm".

    Döner Kebab is the meat. If you do it in a roll it is Dürüm Döner, if you have it in a bread you normally still just call it Döner Kebab, at least in Germany.

    Schawarma (arabian) is beef, while Gyros (greek) is pork.

    Sis kebap is "meat on a skewer".

    Noodle soup and a baby greens salad. It was the drink that made me ill, though - a green iced tea with these black things in it (I forget the name) that made me really sick.

    Those are beans. Even my girlfriends doesn't drink it. You had Pho then. One of my favorite dishes.

    We only get the one kind and it's called a pita. Nevertheless it holds a ****load of meat inside and tastes reallyreally good no matter how drunk or sober you are. the drunker the better

    Dude I used to get Gyros as big as your head when I was in Nurnburg. We would drink an Ouzo with the Imbiss owner while he made them and then wash it all down with Bitburger. I have no idea if that is good Gyro etiquette but damn it was good.

    Yep, and Schnitzel with Sour(sauer)kraut alone seems strange. Who eats that combo? You get Kasseler with Sauerkraut, even though i don't like it that would be a typical meal. Just putting the 2 most typical german dishes together just doesn't make a "typical" german meal.
