    I've only prepared it with water, but the chicken stock idea sounds good.

    We also eat it for breakfast. You pour some warm milk over it. Add honey and some fruit of your choice. It's quite good.

    Homemade sandwich;

    Ciabatta bread with dried tomatoes
    Green pesto as spread
    Grana cheese
    Parma ham
    Sicilian tomatoes
    And a mix of different Mediterranian salad leaves...

    Orange = tomatoes, green = spinach. What do they add to violet ones? I ask because it's the first time I see them. :P

    EDIT: bietola rossa?

    Best sandwich I've made in a while! A couple of friends at work even asked me to make them one next week

    Next project will probably be a BLT. You don't see them too often here in Europe...

    Si, the red are beets and the yellow, I think is turmeric.

    I'm not a fan of soft ricotta, so I don't think I'd like this. Especially if it's served cold, but it is interesting, ghostdog.

    Quinoa is best made with water, its the way the people of America ate it. You can chose to cook it with stock, but you are going to add fat to a great non fat food.

    BTW, Riccota is great.
