I know this method works well and i could lose a couple of pounds myself... but i can't go without carbs. i would keep feeling hungry without them.

Yep it is horrible but if you just drink loads of water it helps. Not being able to have a nice enjoyable **** is the worse part....

Last night we celebrated a Bro' back from Astan, the dinner was a mix of specialties from various Italian regions and that's just a part of what we ate :

Horse meat sausages typical of Puglia

Bruschetta and Arrosticini ,a must from Abruzzo

    Spiced bacon roll from Calabria

And to round off the very "icing on the cake" ,typical in my home especially in this season

marinated strawberries in mascarpone cream ,simple but super .

A slice of fresh baked bread with mayo. One of life's little pleasures.

    Horse meat sausages...
I had horse meat once. It was on my only trip to Venice. My wife and I walked into this deli. The deli was magnificent. A whole wall of cured meats, bunch of cheeses, olives, sarde en saor, etc.
I had the lady slice some horse breasaola (?). Didn't like it. Didn't hit the spot at all. Maybe it was phsychological, I don't know.
