    T-84-120 Yatagan

This tank has been created in 2000. By its development the technical decisions which have been checked up at modernization of tank T-72-120 on which the new automatic device for the first time has been applied to a gun placed in the isolated independent compartment in a forage of a tower were used. The tank is armed by 120-mm a gun - a launcher of NATO corresponding standards, installation as well new 140 mm of a gun is possible.

    Ukrainian Peace Keepers. Your Welcome.

I have 2 friends, from Kyiv, who spent time as Engineer "peacekeepers" or whatever in Iraq, and they said that this group of photos was taken in Kharkiv (Kharkov for those who don't know how Ukrainians spell their city names)

How could that be Iraq?Of course,it's Ukraine, they are preparing for sending to peacekeeping missions. The landscape and architecture are also Eastern Europe-style.

Ukrainian and Russian are derive from the same language, so what makes it totally different anyway? It is just another Dialect of the same language. Like French from Quebec and French from France. English From USA and English from England.

BTW, the T-84 Yatagan is for the Turkish Army, as it was evaluated and created under their expectations. The T-84 standard is going to be the main MBT for Ukraine, next to the T-64B. Question though: Why did they choose to upgrade the T-64 series and T-80 Series as their main, while Russia chose the T-72?

All of T-64B will be upgraded to T-64 BM Bulat.
T-64, T-80, T-84 are all designed and produced in KMDB, T-72 is produced at Uralvagonzavod in Nizhnt Tagil, Russia.
Some of the Ukrainian T-72 were upgraded, but now all of them are in storage.

Heh,the eternal question - if Ukrainian and Russian languages are so close, why Russians don't know Ukrainian, and,as they say, can't understand even word? Most of Ukrainian know Russian because of Soviet past.Today, new young Ukrainian generation know Russian rather bad.

    BS!

There is only international comparison suitable in this case: Slovak and Czech languages or Polish ans Slovak. Different languages of different nations belonging to the same group or family.

They know "surzhik"- this is the redneck language and our education is to blame for that.

I am yet to see a guy under 22 who writes ukrainian or russian without mistakes.
