Same here, if one learns cyrylic it is not a big problem to understand what is written in Ukrainian. I like many Ukrainian bands and because of that fact I am always interested in lyrics, after learning cyrylic it is not so big problem in understanding them. There of course some differences between Ukrainian cyryclia and Russian one but, this is not so major difference. Personally, I started to learn cyrylica because of my druzjaI must also admit that if one keeps their ears "open" it is far easier to understand jazyki of brothers, seriozno
Edit : By the way, learning cycylic alfawit is not hard, harder is to get smooth with it. However just like with everything it is just a matter of practice.

That's alright buddy. Yeah, it's a shame that the unit was not specified but I reckon those guys could have been from the 8th Special Forces Regiment.

Its nice to see the new flektarn to be in use, its seems to be very effective. Thanks for posting the photos!
P.S. I agree that Ukrainian is more similar to Polish and Slovak because these languages became more vernacular in 16 century (ie. got modernised), while Russian is closest to Serbian, due to Church Slavonic.

The video distorts the pattern, but the uniform cut and the occasional spots make me belive that its flektarn.
P.S. Yes, I notticed the partizan cammo. Disturbing the fact that russians would copy cammo of their most feared enemies - the Waffen SS. Not sure what this cammo is doing on Ukrainian police, perhaps they are encouraged to mix up the cammo - I've seen them wear US and British pieces as well.
