    Default Video for documentary

    Dronetek,

I'm the producer of a documentary called "Life Happens." One of the inspirational stories we're sharing with our national audience is about Marc Lee. He was the first Navy Seal killed in combat during the Iraq War. Marc received the Silver Star posthumously for courageously risking (and ultimately giving) his life to save others during a ground attack.

We would love to have some actual raw footage of ground combat to use while telling his story and several clips you posted here would be perfect. So basically, I was wondering if A) We could have access to some of your footage and B) We could have permission to use it in our documentary.

You would get full credit in our movie and copies of the final product.

    Let me know.

    Thanks!

dronteks gone buddy, he was banned for posting videos that should not be posted if i remember right. As a Combat Wounded Vet I support what you are doing but OPSEC has priority here.

Can you explain what you mean about OPSEC having priority? I haven't been able to get the info I need on what is allowed when it comes to using actual combat footage in a project such as ours. I know that photos taken by military are considered public domain. Not sure how that translates to video.

if the photos and videos have not been posted by the US Armed Forces, many SOF Photos and Videos are considered OPSEC (Operational Security) or may violate PERSEC which is showing the Identity of SOF Members. They have the right and the reason to keep their Identities unknown. Privately posted videos or photos could be in violation of these two important security protocols. thats why Drontek was banned (as i said if i remember correctly)

Do you have a recommendation on how I could get some combat footage that might be usable? I've seen some footage that is strictly POV and doesn't even show any soldiers. Something like that would work, but again, I want to make sure we are solidly in the clear to use any footage we might obtain.

    Thanks,

    chad

many arent glad about it, but many videos and photos have been leaked, if you are that determined to find them, contact sandman or ravage usernames on this website. they can probably help you on your way
