Hi. I am new to this wonderful site and I know I will be on here for a long time. The wealth of information, the wonderful discussions, the different points of view make it all very interesting and worthwhile. But, as I have noticed on some threads, a few of you guys with strong opinions meet with other guys with strong opinions. Of course, no one wins the arguement and the thread becomes hostile. The moderators then close the thread and everyone loses.
If I could make a suggestion to some of you who feel strongly about a certain viewpoint. If you think it gets out of line or it starts to go to far, ask the other guy who you are arguing with to go to another forum and discuss your differences. Hopefully, you will do so in a civilized manner and try to learn from each other.
As I have learned in life, it doesn't matter what you "think". What matters is that you make a good life for you and your family. The rich people who we never see will use anger to keep the masses at each others throats. There will always be an agitator who brings up terrible pasts that will make you irrational. I try to avoid such people because they enjoy the anger and hate they try to provoke and they use it for their own benefit.
In life, whether its a war or a soccer game, people can get hostile which leads to conflict which can lead to injury and death. Trust me guys, its not worth it.
