This is the wrong forum for this thread, however, I have to agree with exarmygaurd. As someone who is on this site daily but never comments, I see a lot of threads get out of hand. This is a great place for people with comman interests to congrigate and express their views. More importantly, the images that our shown here pull back the blinds that many people have shading them from the horrors of war. We wouldn't be visiting this site if we weren't all drawn to the military and conflict in some way or another. My point being is that we all share a common interest and that interest is unfortunatly war. To liberally paraphrase exarmyguard (sorry if I completely take this out of context) to argue over the proper implementaion of fire support in the hills of A-stan during a particular operation by ( who 9 times out of 10 are gung ho 16yr olds) is completly irrelevant. Anyway...I digress. My intention is not to PiQ"ss anyone off or make light of the younger users of this site, just to agree to some extent with another. Thanks for the site and keep up the great work

Hi. I am new to this wonderful site and I know I will be on here for a long time. The wealth of information, the wonderful discussions, the different points of view make it all very interesting and worthwhile. But, as I have noticed on some threads, a few of you guys with strong opinions meet with other guys with strong opinions. Of course, no one wins the arguement and the thread becomes hostile. The moderators then close the thread and everyone loses.

If I could make a suggestion to some of you who feel strongly about a certain viewpoint. If you think it gets out of line or it starts to go to far, ask the other guy who you are arguing with to go to another forum and discuss your differences. Hopefully, you will do so in a civilized manner and try to learn from each other.

As I have learned in life, it doesn't matter what you "think". What matters is that you make a good life for you and your family. The rich people who we never see will use anger to keep the masses at each others throats. There will always be an agitator who brings up terrible pasts that will make you irrational. I try to avoid such people because they enjoy the anger and hate they try to provoke and they use it for their own benefit.

In life, whether its a war or a soccer game, people can get hostile which leads to conflict which can lead to injury and death. Trust me guys, its not worth it.

Maybe next time you get the urge to some fecal fingerpainting you can use your bedroom wall instead of your keyboard.
