February 6th, 2010 Report: PARIS — French defense officials say France has agreed to sell Russia an advanced amphibious warship and is considering a Russian request for three more.
Jacques de Lajugie, head of international development at the French arms agency DGA, told a news conference Monday that among the outstanding questions are where the Mistral would be built.
No information about a timetable for the delivery of the one ship that France has so far approved was immediately available...

I think it is Soviet diesel submarine S-189, project 613. Floated out in 1954. On active duty from 1954 till 1986. Since 2007 moored as a museum.

These gun turrets are similar to Leipzig/Nurnburg class cruisers of German Navy..Nurnburg was passed to the USSR with the name Admiral Makharov after WWII. Are these the 3 x150mm gun turrets of Nurnburg ?
