Does anyone have a close up of the Netherlands Antilles Coast Guard Crest? I'm an avid model builder and would like to draw my own decals for the Dash 8s they fly out of Curacao. All the usual websites show pictures from afar.

Really great thread. Had started one sometime earlier on this forum but this one is better.

Incidentally, those armed forces aren't from Dominica but from the Dominican Republic. Dominica is an english-speaking island while the latter is spanish-speaking.

Not sure if Dominica has any armed forces beyond a police SSU.

As an aside, CG-11 the coast guard vessel shown in the Trinidad section was one of 6 Austal built Fast Patrol Craft for the TTDF.

Nice vessels but major serviceability problems. Only two years after induction, availability is between 1 and 4 at any time.

Most other larger vessels are non-operational as well.

CG-10 shown in the Barbados section is a Trinidad and Tobago vessel (now a rusting hulk).
