I noticed with this pic, I have seen this a lot. Is it common practice to use a round to take rounds out of a magazine? Isnt that a safety issue at all? Im not saying the Russian forces are unsafe, just that what I was taught was to never use a live round as a tool, nor push anything in the back where the primer is.
There is nothing wrong with that. It is much easier to use a round than doing it with your fingers. There is no chance that you can ignite the primer by pushing on it. More over, M16 (AR15) disassemly instructions that I have got, also suggest using a round to push out the reciever pins.
Russian military commercials, I thought they were interesting to watch:

Stereguschy on its first sea trials.
The ship is now being finished and will be on display at the IMDS 2007 show this summer in St. Petersburg.

hm... I don't know somehow I don't like the commercials - I know its nothing new in commercials but they could have used a little bit less make up on their fashion model soldiers and the lines the guys say could sound a little bit more convincing![]()
