Do you know what ПОКАЗУХА means? How its done, by whom and on what purpose?

It means "Look at these guys with cool gunz. They are tough as hell and bla bla bla"
ПОКАЗУХА "pokazukha" means the show, pretending to be cool for lames, so to say.

Or maybe when some general comes to visit the regiment and they begin to prepare in advance, so when he actually comes everything seems to be nice&cool. But in the fact...well, you know.
And other stuff like this. The show just for show. Cool picture but just a picture. Pokazukha ))

Nope. And you are way off, first he calles it reenactment and after its показуха. By your logic every military expo is pokazuha, its not. Just because to show=показывать does not means it показуха.

So you dont know, but maybe this maybe that?
Show is better, pokazuha is a live show with kids, women , reporters or generals. Its to impress someone.
This is a good example of it. A picture of guys with weapons is not pokazuha.

Нет, траву в зеленый как и снег квадратами это НЕ показуха. Что ты показываешь? Показуха это когда сальто и лопаты кидают, кирпичи бьют и едят лягушек это показуха (показывают не для проверки или чтоб было чем занятся а для зрелещности - генералы, репортеры, куча народу и все ооо ааа круто).

In a couple of the pics they are flying both the Ukrainian and Russian flags - is that because they are Black Sea Fleet out of Sevastopol (Sevastopol being in the Ukraine but the base is leased back by Russia)

SVU and SVU-A (Snaiperskaya Vintovka Ukorochennaya - Avtomat = Short Sniper Rifle - Automatic) is, basically, a shortened variant of famous SVD rifle, re-stocked into bull-pup configuration, with added folding ajustable bipods and muzzle device (flash hider and noise decreaser). SVU-A is SVU with added full-auto capability.
SVU is intended as a special law enforcement and tactical rifle, and is widely used by Russian Internal Affair Ministry Forces and OMON (kind of Russian S.W.A.T.) in Chechnya. This rifle is more compact, and have somewhat shorter effective range, than SVD.

those are pics from the naval day parade in sevastpol in either 2005 or 2004, so yes.
