    Can anybody tell me something about the reputation of the Naval Infantry?! I know that the VDV are badass but never heard about the Naval Infantry. Great pics anyway thank you

    Have a look at their reputation from the Great Patriotic War and you will get your answer...

    The Fascists name for them was "Schwartz Todt" - "black death"

    I think you mean "Schwarzer Tod" - from the words "schwarz" (black) and "Tod" (death)

    I have 3 books about Russian marines or "morskaya Pexota" in russian language, all 3 books refer to the fact that even chechen terrorists call our morskaya pexota "black death". many many radio interceptions are caught referring to the marines in that way.
