What do you expect? Objective information is only in the datasheets, the media is not interested in any objectiveness but in sensations. That's because every new design is described as best, unique etc even if it's a refurbished 20 years old soviet prototype.

BTW: Su-34 is stealth...when compared to Tu-95. Since stealth is not an objective defined term you can apply it to anything. Any design nowadays incorporate elements to reduce radar-srosssection, ther is no clear line from which an aircraft is "stealth".

    .
I agree.. But you must admit that some of these reports are funny.. Like for example the comment that no other aircraft in the world does not have the same payload as Su-34, while F-15E can carry 12,000kg which is more then su-34

Very simplistic. The F-15E will carry 12T and fly not too far.

These figures can not be directly compared. You can always add more bombload to an aircraft while reducing the fuel carried. Just like he F-15E, 12 Tons and more can be carried by the Su-34 as well (at the expense of fuel load).

Remember, max take off weight is the figure that should not be exceeded. You can load with fuel, bombs or potatoes.

You are just another victim of manufacturer's infomercial/commercial. It works on TV as well as on data supplied. One should be more carefull to get a proper comparison.

    No thats not it.

What im looking for is the photos of AKs with grenade rings on the cleaning rods.

Regular Hand greande, the ring that you pull... well Russian soldiers would use that pull ring and put it through the hole of the cleaning rod that sits under the barrel.

Anyone else knows what Im talking about?
    I only find this:

Why should they be used in chechnya? Chechens didn't had modern AFVs to be fought. The few T-72A they had were destroyed within the first few days by helicopters.

BTW In Afghanistan the 40th army also used T-55 and T-62 instead of T64/72/80. There was just no targets for mdoern tanks.

Really odd because it said it was a Russian military Uniform yet all those pictures seemed, different to the one i saw except the one in the first picture and, second. It was all Dark Green with Light Green digitized spots.

Are you sure the ones you saw weren't the old Soviet KZS chem suits? Like this one:

    I found this photo here : http://talks.guns.ru/forummessage/92...-m7774207.html

The soldier on the left is holding a Kovrov AEK-971.
Anybody knows if this gun is already being issued to units?
