It would have a better than fair chance as India has lots of Russian kit already, however the Americans are pushing a mega sales drive including defence equipment, which means F15's, F16's, F/A18's. India has already purchased the Boeing P8A MPA.
Even some West European nations are in the running too. Gripen, Typhoon and Rafale. I like the MiG35 (and MiG 29) but I'm not as hopeful as you.

It's a shame there isn't a carrier version of the MiG35 as it's no doubt a superior machine to the MiG29K. I would think that the Indian Navy would snap it up very quickly !

I also like the MiG-35,I wish to see the MiG-35 in Military service very soon.

UAV exhibition underway in Moscow.

I've just came back from that exhibition. I was impressed, i thought it will be boring,but there were a lot of UAVs for russian exhibitions

I recently found this in a forum:

"Whilst surfing the net came across an article about Beslan in 2004, for does who can't remeber it was the hostage taking of a school.

The interesting thing i found was these two picture of a Accuracy International Sniper rifle (L96 for the Brits), the soldier using the rifle is from the Spetsnaz (thats what it mention in the article).

Just wondered if any one has ever come across any Eastern European forces that use Accuracy International or any other western companies weapons?"
