As I understood, they will wear it from April to September and then give a reference for changes must be made, so maybe there will be decent pockets in the end.

Hopefully this is the case. What bothers me is that not much has changed since Soviet "Afganka" (which was not the greatest uniform to start with). Pockets, epilet location, materials, and cut are so 1970s...

Uniform has to enhance the soldier and make him look sharper (which is important for morale purposes), while this monstrocity is cut to make the fittest man look like a bag of hammers.

But we'll wait and see.

Actually, you should have seen the early versions of this uniform, which actually had real shorts. Now that was a real Afrika Korps reborn.

I've read somewhere in the Airsoft-something.ru forum (that, where a guy posted review of captured Gerogian trophies etc) that one of the guys who has a real influence in these uniform questions is a closet nazi (you know, the sort of people who like how a German Hugo Boss uniform looks like, who likes all those black shiny boots - латентный, in one word).

Whats with that huge and ugly probe in the nose? i thought that was going to be removed on production aircraft....or are they still "modernizing" or w/e the aircraft...


also all rocket armamement....seeing this and the Su-34 with rockets as well makes me wonder when RuAF will embrace precision weaponry...
