1002 in shipbuilding plant "Severnaya verf".

It's stupid to do 3 blocks, and then put 2. Model ship officially posted on the "Severnaya verf"...

In the top down view, what are those things between the two AK-630 guns in the middle of the ship? Between the Uran launches and the AK-630 guns to be more precise. Is that just the gas turbine exhaust?

It's based on the earlier reports -- I heard, developers were unsure about ship's electrical grid abilities. But the photo up there shows that they've managed to fit another module there after all -- well, now we could only wish for another VLS for ASMs.

Definitely the exhaust. In the model it is black but you can notice the center having those round structures.

    BTW, what does Soobrazitelnyiy mean?

There are several versions of the Project 20380 class ship. The XXI-2 version has 12 cell VLS.

    good news indeed

The Vice-Admiral Kulakov is an Udaloy class destroyer of the Russian Navy.
The Admiral Kulakov was commissioned in 1982 and was on combat duty with the Northern Fleet until March 1991, when it retired for repairs that lasted more than 18 years. The destroyer is to rejoin the Northern Fleet in the first half of 2010.

Recent exercise of the 76th Air Assault Division.

For the first time in years, 3 BMD-2 vehicles were dropped with the crews inside. Also a few other novelties....I didn't know the VDV used buggy type scout vehicles

I´ve made a pic of the VDV Buggy for those who are interested. How is the recon troop organized at VDV batallions?
