The reason for the angling the ERA armour up is it allows you to install larger ERA panels while still allowing the driver to get out. If they were angled in the traditional way then the driver simply couldn't get out with the turret facing forward.

What will be the most suitable and correct translation of "parashutno-desantniy polk"? I always used "airborne regiment", but it seems the most correct, clear to the foreigner and close translation will be "parachute landing regiment" or "parachute regiment".
parachute-airborne regiment. parachute-landing (literal desantniy comes from descent) regiment.

Thank you, gentlemen. will use "airborne regiment" as the most "wide" designation.

another way to translate it would be air mobile regiment, but those usually mean heliborn units

    What the fkuc is this???
Looks like someone wanted to put rear doors on a btr, moved the engine to the front, but wanted to keep the side door advantage of the btr and added more ridiculous side doors. If this is the "Gilza" prototype, then I am incredibly disappointed.
