    had a same thought on first sight, using that will quicly turn into neckpain but i think its just a prototype, see the focus on size in pix, if need be pretty sure troops will add a cheek rest of a sort, front line soldiers are quite resorsfull

    This scope "TB4-100". (http://microbolometer.ru/catalog/3-t...r-tb4-100.html) Probably it is not intended for use on the SVD - is missing a standard side mount. Yes and version is not for "marksman" (he's just going to fall apart "in the field").
