What is this kinder-garden??. After seeing the t-72BM upgrade, with the half exposed front turret, you actually think MoD would fund any of these t-80 upgrades?.

And seeing how cheap they were in the upgrade of the t-72BM, leaving a large portion of the turret front un-protected by ERA and using outdated k-5 ERA, the only way we will see a t-80 variant with all of those goodies is if a bare chested Putin himself drives one on the Red Square.
The T-72 upgrade was more or less to have an improved tank for little money as they are to be phased out (stored) once Armata hits ground and it will only be Armata and T-90A's. The big improvement on the T-72 is the introduction of a Thermal imager without the IR light on the front. K-5 ERA is more or less up to standards today and can still handle hits from most modern tanks.

    Default Extermination of Arbi Barayev

Arbi Barayev was by far the most ruthless and brutal field commander in Chechnya. He was so hated the locals refused his body to burried on their land.
