Interesting photos of the Yak-130 - especially showing the anti-FOD doors that blank off the main intakes.

On the MiG-29, the anti-FOD door is activated as soon as there is weight on the nosewheel - in other words, when it touches down.

On the Yak-130, it looks like the doors cycle down with the landing gear and are 'closed' before it touches down.

    Fascinating.....

It seems to me that it's probably either an exact, or next-gen version, of the 4-piece Krinkov muzzle brake.

What I want to know is how they're importing UTG rails, EoTechs (the magnifiers aren't EoTechs, they're Russian copies) and an American fore-grip/flashlight. Are they utilizing their new abilities from the admittance of the WTO where all prior trade terms and contracts are disallowed?

If you got a chance to look into wikileaks files you will find that US embassy recommended the sale of red dot sights and other equipment for FSB since they fight terroracts and organised crime.

I guess they just make some orders for their own money. And it was before joining the WTO.

Perfect! Happy to sell advanced equipment to the Russians! (may as well sell them to the PRC, since their fighting "terrorism".) Sigh.
    Az_esm, the fore-grip/flashlight is a Sure-Fire M-900A.
