Newsflash: Since the implementation of L-band radars on PAK-FA (possible upgrades on SU-27 family and other fighter types) so-called stealth design of fighter jet makes no sense any more and F-22 is now obsolete.

The L-band arrays are not radars.

Seems like it, but I thought it was only in service on Indian navy MiGs.

I've read that Russia has also chosen that helmet for their Mig-29Ks.

They say "Dont try this with Chinese analouges" and then show what happens when you use a Chinese airsoft AK as a step.

In accordance to here (Page 10/12) they address it as radar

Anyway, the real threat to the stealth will be th IRST system on the PAK FA. With newer and better technology, will allow the irst performance to increase.

The one that broke was a chinese airsoft AK, the video shows Izhmash AKs being used to open doors with the buttstock, or as a ladder or to carry a "wounded" comrade, the text below states: do not attempt this with a chinese production airsoft AK. Anyway its good news for all Airsoft and AK fans, who for some reason cant afford the real thing, or for those who want their reenactment/airsoft gear to be as authentic as possible.

Sure they are L-band aesa arrays but not radars
Take-off.ru's report on MAKS 2011 mentioned NIIP aesa array (radar) for Pak-Fa and the L-band aesa array in the same line. Just two paragraphs down the article was the description of the arrays,
Other novelties from GRPZ at MAKS 2011 were the4283E AESA two-band digital IFF interroga-tor and 4280MSE multifunction integratedIFF responder.
