this source claims that in 2011, crews weren't taught to use guns elevation(which reffers to shooting fixed gun in 0 vertical and 0 horizontal angle possitions)

To fit inside an Il-76, the whole rotor mast needs to be removed from the Kamov, but only the blades need removing from the Mil.
In other words, it is quicker to prepare a Mi-28 for deployment than it is for a Ka-50/52.

depends what transport you are talking about, kamovs have an instant upper hand in ship transports: lenght and widht vise, but both mi-28s and ka-52s have removable wings, rotors, engines, and blah blah blah...

    remember this?

Any footage of Ka-52 using guided munitions? All combat practice videos and photos show them using unguided rockets and main gun. I heard Kamov has had issues in respect to the targeting system... Are current serial Ka-52 essentially "unfinished product"?

all standard maneuvers like 'cone' are taught with fixed gun. How else they could understand own aiming errors. Like many other guns in aviation gun on Ka-52 moves in automatic mode to follow mark and remove calculated errors, but you should aim it first and try to keep the aim in maneuvers, same like it be with fixed gun.

    @ _GDS_

Again, flankerman was talking about the complexity of removing the rotors mast which is a mechanical component of the engine-transmission system against the relative easiness of just removing the rotor wings

MoD orders not to buy guided rockets for teaching pilots in Torjok, instead they have bought a new complex trainer-simulator. Certification launches of laser-guided (Vihr and Ataka) for production series been made on the respected missile producer's testing ground. Why there's no video of it, I don't know.

Do you have a link regarding the issues? Last I heard, the Arbalet radar worked fine for it.

What I cannot wait for, is to see the Zhuk-A radar for the Ka-52K.
