DSHK HMG. 12,7 mm. Practically the same as Browning .50 cal. It's great HMG with diverse ammo, including HE rounds.
They are able to explode upon impact. Results are devastating for the target. If you are firing on soft targets, they just explode from the inside. Don't know if Browning .50 cal has such sort of ammo.

Well the DSHK is infact more powerfull then the Browning due to the Case being longer (and thus more gun powder). But nice pictures dude and keep on roling!

It looks like the same painting is used as a mural outside the Lavochkin OKB in Khimki, Moscow......

PS - I just 'zoomed in' on my original digital image - and the pilot shown lying down (dead?) in TheArmenian's photo of 'White 12' has been removed (airbrushed out) from the mural outside Lavochkin !!!

Both HMGs are great! DSHK 12,7 X 108 catridge has a more gun powder while Browning .50 cal has more barrel length, so they are equal some way. They both have about 14-18 kilojoules, for comparison .30-06 catridge, which is also very powerful, has about 3-4 kilojoules.
I will try to take a few more photos of DSHK.

It is commercial camo, like Multicam. Not official.

I think that commercial camouflage in Russia is better than official. Everybody have seen sh*tty official pattern on the parade.
