Pantsir is great AD system, but I don't know how heavy it is. When I think about Sosna, I have in mind putting a gun/missile turret of Sosna on BMD-4 or BTR-MD chassis to get self propelled AD system for VDV units. I hope we will soon see in pictures, what they will get.
My thoughts for the VDV is that while they don't want heavy equipment that will slow them down once they do take a position and try to hold it... after the surprise has worn off, the enemy might just use stand off weapons/systems to deal with them because they rarely have heavy support weapons. Perhaps something like Phoenix? The thing I like about Phoenix is that it is totally passive yet offers good all round air observation. The data it collects could be passed to air defence positions all round the place so can be used by ZU-23Ms and individuals with Igla-s and any SOSNA trailer systems.

Note: the Phoenix SAM system... scroll to bottom of PDF to see it.
