Any news about the Russian Knights Su-35s - you can see the fins in the background in the photo above.

    Thanks, Ken

They are still there, some of the parts from each Su-35 were used on "regular" Knights' aircrafts. So i think they are not able to flight without serious preparation and repair.
It seems they will spend their life there, sad

Clearly... That is in general without fleet...
According to military men - with application helicopter carrier, we would need 40 minutes for this purpose, that has occupied 26 hours. In Ossetia...
Or do you think that we should not learn from mistakes?

Professionally trained soldiers and pilots with good communications equipment, modern precision weaponry and better coordination both air and ground would be far far more useful than the abilities of this ship.

Putin & Co can be called many things but dumb is probably not on that list. They are thinking five steps ahead and planning for better times. Buying these ships actually makes sense if Russia is to be a strong regional player in the Black Sea and Caspian basin among other things) And the technology transfer component of this deal the way Putin & Co are verbalizing it is sweet) So chill -- все будет заебато))

That is happening as well so there's nothing to worry about. The Mistral deal will not take away from any of that.

A lot of pretty words from our government. While they are planning to waste billions on new ships that we are probably never going to use for anything but showing off professional soldiers in Abkhazia are being fired:

Look it is hard to judge just how professional those who are being laid off are from that post. It just says the people who are being laid off are those serving on a contract but who are not commanding officers or drivers. Lay offs in a particular military unit especially stationed in Abkhazia are in no way an indication on the overall progress of the reform. All governments have pretty words for their constituents but rarely deliver on all the promises made. That is the nature of politics and state.
