I recently "acquired" a russian action movie called "Den D", a remake of Schwarzy's old classic "Commando". I really dig that movie, but unfortunately I don't understand russian language very well, so I'm asking if someone knows where I can find english subtitles?

Also, I really liked the weapons shown and used, nice to see some russian weapons having spotlight (I'm seek and tired of G36 on TV).

Starring that funny guy, this movie looks like parody on Commando. But it is complete remake. Watch original movie instead.

Lol, I watched the original as a kid and in recent years enough times already. So "Den D" came as a nice surprise. That's why I want a subtitle, to see the changes in dialog and the oneliners used.

    Tigr is a Russian HUMVEE.

    SPM-3 is that + it's a MRAP, it's bigger and looks scarier.

    Tigr is for Army.
    SPM-2 is for MVD.

And, BTW, not HUMVEE (Humvee is so-called "military" version of Hummer), but HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) and it is modular and again Tigr is not HMMWV.

I hate when people call Tigr or Kombat T-98 - "Russian Hummer". WTF? Name things by their own name.

Because you hate simplification, I would assume you have, at least, MD. Let me remind you, HMMWV isn't a military version of Hammer. It was other way around. It did not work well on asphalt, but people just loved it. Latter generations despite they looked somewhat close to original, was made base on of Chevy Tahoe (ugly track, named SUV).
Basically, today HMMWV and Hummer have absolutely nothing in common. "Russian Hummer" supposed to be insulting name for Tigr.
