I am currently trying to make a model of the stretched Mi-18 helicopter that was built 25 years ago.......

It now resides in the museum at Torzhok, but I only have a couple of photos of it.

What I need are some good detail photos of the rear end - particularly the shape of the sponsons for the retractable undercarriage.

Can anyone help ???

I found these two images in a youtube video about the USSR operations in Afghanistan. Which unit used M16A1s or are those captured from the Mujahedin? Are these lads with KGB or something?

I'd appreciate a some information.

its captured. If u didnt know Mujahedins had been use a lot of US weapons from rifles to stinger and other explosives...

The steps and winch (and the pilot!) are on the port side - not the starboard as in this photo.
