Model of a S-400 at a museum showing a dual missile system like we have seen on some S-300 PMU-2 versions.

I wonder how the silhouette of minesweeper of project 266 qualifies as the RKR "Slava".

I also wonder at their inclusion of the Zaporozhie submarine in the Ukrainian fleet. It isnt exactly oeprational, or ever will be again.

It seems that with 5th generation fighter, the new gear shouldn't they make the look of the forces a bit more professional looking? I also heard that Russia is going to be supplying kits for Kazakhstan a digital kit in Kazakh pattern... why not for their own?

Sorry for many questions, I like the Russian forces and so am just curios. Props to this thread.
things in regards to uniform/kit are going to start changing only after 2011

Also there is no 2 subs in Russian Black Sea Fleet. It is only one - "Alrosa". And many silhouettes are incorrect. Zaporozhie not Kilo class, but old Foxtrot. And in place of Getman Sagaidachny (Krivak III class) - russian Neustrashimy fregate. Above "2 малых ракетных корабля" (2 small missile ships) - silhouette of Alligator class landing ship. Funny enough, in this picture actually present a Slava cruiser - just above "6 морских тральщиков" (6 minesweepers). And so on...

to bad I like the look of the russian army. an individual in an army is quite unorthodox but we all seem to like it. If you can choose out of a large number of camo you choose what you like best for the field.
