Very interesting Soviet footage from the 80's of a front-line Mig-23 unit.
Altough no details is given and according to some commentaries, it seems that this regiment is based in the Transbaikal area. it is presumably the 120th Guards Fighter Regiment "Odesskiy" from Domna. This unit subsequently deployed to Afghanistan with Mig-23MLD's and still exists despite cut threats. It currently operates Mig29 Fulcrum A/B/C and became the 6982nd Air base.
These are aircrafts 120 shelves.
P.S. By the way ... here http://desantura.ru/forums/index.php...&req=sc&cat=23 "Части специального назначения ГРУ СССР и России" - 2646 photo.

By the way, I take 10 euros for military equipment recognition lesson. Friendly price, you won't find better

waiting for your help
Hello everyone, i would like to ask, are dog tags issued to Russian soliers? And what do they look like? What information is inscripted on them? Thanks for your help.
http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%96%...B5%D0%B3%D0%BE
(there are pictures)
it has "Armed Forces of Russia" on it and a identification number of the soldier it's issued to.
Thanks a lot, Susumu. I wonder why the blood group and Rh factor is not included on the tag. Isn't that helpful, when the soldier is wounded and unable to tell the medical personnel what his blood group is?
These are usually stated on a nametag which is sewn to the breast pocket.
I think i have seen that, but thanks for telling me. But in mz opinion, uniform can get pretty messed up in action, while a dog tag is more durable. Did the Soviet army use dog tags?
