Why is there an F-18 as a refelection? I think the artist needs some education in airplanes

A 'rival' design - designed and built by Kazan Helicopters - is the Mi-8MTV5....

Both type have 'solid' noses and rear ramps - but there are lots of small differences.

MTV-5 is transport helo which can carry unguided rockets, bombs and gun pods. Has 4 hard-points because with 6 fully loaded can't take "passengers".
AMTSh - is much like UH-60L DAP. Can carry guided anti-tank rockets also better for rescue missions because of the FLIR etc.

    What about the Il-112 program?
I have heard about possible licence production of foreign military plane of this class (medium/light cargo plane)
It is on hold since like august 2010, MoD decided to halt the program. It is not known if its in GAP 2011-2020. The MoD is doing investigation of Ilyusin OKB on how they spent their funds.

l think Tu-95 pilots had same mask and googles when flying for CZAR BOMB . Very dark googles should be for intensive light of nuclear explosion..
What is the name or code of that mask system ?

Bachelor can help you with that, but I think he was the pilot of a Tu-160.

    Default Question regarding Berets

In the book SAS: The World's Best by Peter Darman - In one of the pictures in the book it shows a russian soldier wearing a light blue beret. In the caption the author has written:

"A Spetsnaz recruit negotiates an obstacle course. Russia's fighting elite proved their physical stamina in Afghanistan"

    Questions:

Can Spetsnaz candidates come from any part of the Russian armed forces including VDV?

Do Spetsnaz candidates wear their current unit beret during Spetsnaz selection, especially on an obstacle course?

Is the Light blue beret worn by Russian VDV (Airborne) units and not Spetsnaz?

Thanks for the responses in advance

1)Spetsnaz simply means Special Forces. Almost every branch has its own Special Forces.
2)They wear combat gear, not berets. Besides, in such cases, the berets are yet to be awarded.
3)Yes, the light blue beret is VDV. But, VDV also has its own Spetsnaz division.

But isn't true that the only "real" Spetsnaz are the ones from GRU?

spetsnaz as acronym is used for "Specialnogo Naznacheniya", i.e. Special Forces.
capitalized Spetsnaz is for OBrSpN's, dedicated sprtsnaz units of 8th Dept. of Main Intelience Directorate.
these units often disgiuised in VDV uniform, as working/training fatigues.
