Great Su 27 documentary with lots of interesting information and facts, documentary says Su 27 was not only designed to match F15 but to be significantly superior in physical performance and weapon systems to F15 and that Su 27 succedded in this design parameters very well and I agree with that.
Here is a good video about Su 47 Soviet designed VLO fighter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRDqzwiSkHI

Throttle down, man, your brand of chest-thumping doesn't belong on MP.net. There's always YouTube for it.

October 26, 2011. Channel "Podmoskov'e". Russia, Krasnoarmeysk. Exhibition of Interpolitex-2011, demonstration shows on a firing ground (see photos of Vitaly).

P.S. From good news - the Russian army, it seems, has finally refused to procurement of the BTR-90.

As far as I've heard, the main criticism of BTR-90 was of the "too little too late" type. Or maybe, to better say, it doesn't give enough bang for the buck — it's relatively complex and expensive, but isn't that much better than its predecessors, and it came out when the budget consciousness once again became a priority.

it's getting pathetic. MoD is like a guy who drives lada and thinks that other cars are too complex and expensive. Is Russian weapon makers are so desperate that everything that they produce is too complicated and too expensive or MoD is just playing a r3tard like in early 90ties? How in the sane mind you would think that BTR-90 doesn't have big advantages over btr-80/82 ?
