    No, he means haze gray of the choppers, not Aerоflot's dark silver.

    Also, love the old-school yokes on the Il, they always look so much more solid than those joysticks.

    November 3, 2011. TV Zvezda. Russia, Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Launch of "Topol". The rocket was on combat duty 20 years.

    Oh, I see. My mistake!

    On that topic, though, I think it looks good as well. Clean is nice. Does the paint applied to the choppers en masse possess any other interesting qualities? Like a decreased radar/IR signature or something? Somebody theorised on this at a Swedish defense blog.

    This BTR-80M is quite interesting, as it have the same day-night sight as BTR-82. Does it also have stabilization, because turret is the same as in the old BTR-80?

    This is the "Topol", and not "Topol-M" (the video 3 november). The rocket 24 years, 20 years on combat duty.

    Great work guys, nice photos as usual.

    In a separate note: I dont like the way the female russian soldier use the hair, look quite untidy for a military force.

    Usually they are from MED support ,translators, Stuff personel etc. Zero females in regular assault units.
