Note the two vehicles beside those two: BRDM and UAZ.

To me, the Tigr is the modern version of the more civilized UAZ that won't look out of place on a city street, while the Vodnik is a pure, unapologetically military, "kick your ass" modern BRDM machine. I think as their predecessors did, these, too, both have their roles.

Agreed. But I can't help thinking that the TIGR is just a blatant case of US mimetism. Although painted in black I'd buy it (especially with a 20 000 Eur price tag).
