    Stereguschy on its first sea trials.

    The ship is now being finished and will be on display at the IMDS 2007 show this summer in St. Petersburg.

    hm... I don't know somehow I don't like the commercials - I know its nothing new in commercials but they could have used a little bit less make up on their fashion model soldiers and the lines the guys say could sound a little bit more convincing

    Displacement is 2000 t

    They are classified as corvettes by the Russian Navy.

    5 are in various stages of construction. A total of 20 are planned.

    For me the explanation is much more simple. They did it becouse they are quite far away from combat zone and it's much more pleasant to take a ride than walking in the mud

    well you have ****load of euqipment inside, and it is much easier to get ff rather than get out of...you have a 360 view while on top, your head isnt full of vibration, and if the box gets hit you'll fly off and live

    What I read about this is that the infantry rides ontop as protection against IED's. Don't know if this is true though.
