    How can you say such a thing? Check the 2 designs well before claiming any copying/knock-off-ing/reverse-engineering.

    Please don't make any claims like that just because both weapons use extensive polymer and look modern/futuristic/cool.

    Just one major difference among many:
    - The Beretta CX-storm is like a pistol (with magazine in the pistol grip)
    - The Baikal MP-161k is like a rifle (with the magazine in front of the trigger group).

    I was referring to the outer design. Many rimfire plinkers imitate heavier weapons; the new Baikal is no exception. The reason is simple: it sells better.

    The berettalooks like a stretched pistol with a buttstock, the baikal looks like a shorter rifle.
