The crew of this brdm-2 is 4: a driver,commander,gunner and co-driver.

Wich type of task the co-driver can do in those type of vehicles? where is he seated since the commander takes the right seat?

Totoche08, are you sure bout a "co-driver" definition?
AFAIR, commander, driver, and 2 scouts (chemical scouts in BRDM-2RH mod)
AFAIK, AT mod (9П122, 9П124, 9П133, 9П137, 9П148 mods) and 9K31 Strela-1 AA complex mod (9П31) had 3 men - commander, driver, gunlayer.

Dunno bout control (BRDM-2U) mod, but think also 4 men.
